Supercritical CO2 Processing
Our technology utilizes supercritical CO2 processing to transform salmon skin into a highly functional biomaterial scaffold while preserving its unique structural and healing properties.
This gentle and environmentally conscious process enables us to produce a clean, biocompatible material without the use of harsh chemical treatments.

Enhanced with Chitosan
To further optimize wound healing performance, our scaffold incorporates chitosan, a naturally derived biopolymer obtained from Icelandic shrimp shells.
Chitosan is widely recognized for its biocompatibility, biodegradability, and ability to support a favourable environment for tissue regeneration. By combining salmon skin and chitosan, we aim to create a synergistic biomaterial that enhances wound management and promotes healing.
